Inspection technology … as practised by the Betz company
My name is Heiko Ortwein. I am 42 years old, a passionate sportsman, a tennis instructor and work as a fitter at the Kurt Betz GmbH company.
My contribution to the inspection technology in the company is the expert fitting of inspection fixtures and the execution of tests. The inspection technology is a kind of sport for me as there are always new tasks which require a degree of flexibility. The field of inspection technology is very varied and I am well placed to apply my strengths in the areas of planning and quality.
Measurement devices
In close cooperation with our customers, I develop measuring devices and gauges for the quality assurance departments of our customers. This includes fixtures for manual measurements and multiple
fixtures for fully automated measurement processes during series production. In addition, automated inspection systems with fully automatic parts feeding and removal are possible.
